Ron Schmidt Maintenance worker, 42
Ron Schmidt of Brighton, a maintenance worker, died Thursday in Brighton. He was 42.
A mass of Christian burial will be said at 2 p.m. today at St. Augustine Church in Brighton. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 1, 1954, in Brighton. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1983. (1973---BK)
He was employed by King Soopers as a maintenance worker. He also worked part-time at Tobacco Heaven in Northglenn Mall and was previously employed as an emergency medical technician. He was a member of Knights of Columbus No. 3285., third degree. He attended St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he volunteered in various positions, including head usher. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
He is survived by his mother, Anne Schmidt, Brighton; a sister, Cindy Race, Loveland.
