Ruth Ann Guetlein passed away March 22 at age 68. She was the third child born between 1946-1950 to Richard and Eleanor Silver.
The family moved to Brighton in 1957. Ruth Ann graduated from Brighton High School in 1967. She attended Northeastern Junior College for two years, and was married and lived in Lakewood until late 1973.
After moving back to Brighton with her daughter, Ruth Ann worked for Adams County government and earned a paralegal degree. She began working at law firms in Denver in 1981 and retired in March 2015. She had oral and throat cancer during the last two years of her life.
Survivors include her mother; a sister Nancy Ottem; a brother, John Silver; a daughter, Marni Welch, and her family (Tim, Brady, Trevor).
Ruth Ann’s sister Elaine Padilla died in April 2014.
