The Weld County Sheriff’s Office and Brighton Police Department are seeking information about the death of a man reported missing last month.
Officials said 33-year-old Ryan Coburn was found dead on June 29 near Weld County roads 20 and 19, just east of Firestone. Coburn was reported missing to Brighton police on June 23 and hadn’t been seen by his family since June 19.
The sheriff’s office and police department have opened a joint suspicious death investigation into the incident.
Coburn’s cause and manner of death are unknown, pending autopsy results from the Weld County Coroner's Office.
The investigation could be changed to a homicide investigation depending on the results, officials said.
