Ryan Ronald Feddersen
U.S. veteran Ryan Ronald Feddersen, 34, of Commerce City was taken suddenly June 6, 2011, to be with his Lord.
He was born May 6, 1977 in Brighton, to Barbara and Ronald Feddersen.
A loving and caring son and brother, he is survived by his parents; one sister, Gina Aitkin, of Greeley; two brothers, Jason Feddersen, of Frederick, and David Feddersen, of Brighton. Other survivors include niece and nephew, Nicole and Tanner Aitken; and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ryan was raised in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School in 1997. Shortly after, he joined the US Army, stationed in Fort Irwin, Calif., until his re-enlistment when he was stationed in Vicenza, Italy. After a medical discharge in 2002, he worked for North Metro Community Services at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora.
Ryan was devoted to his family and enjoyed going to concerts or fishing with family. He loved music and was a hunting enthusiast.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henny and Meinhard Feddersen and Helen and William Walter; five uncles, Duane, Kenneth, Lowell, and Russell Walter and Hans Feddersen; and aunt, Shirley Kluver.
Funeral service was June 13 at Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton. Graveside service followed at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
