Samuel Abeyta, 71, of Westminster Colorado, began his new life in Heaven on December 8, 2014. A native of Colorado, Samuel grew up in Brighton, CO and served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1966. President and owner of Front Range Fabrication for 20+ years. He was honored on many occasions for his business leadership and success as a Minority Business Owner, gracing the cover of Colorado BIZ Magazine and being featured in The Denver Business Journal, The Rocky Mountain News and many others.
President and founder of Chosen Men of God Ministries until he succomed to Alzheimers Disease. Samuel served on Kairos prison ministry teams in Canyon City, CO for 17 years. He also served in Marriage Encounter, Evenings for the Engaged and Cursillo, as a minister of the gospel.
amuel loved playing the harmonica and loved his family with all his heart. Samuel helped many in this life and was a giving man with the highest integrity. We will miss him dearly and the silly nicknames he had for each of us.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Melaquias Abeyta and his brother Dan Abeyta. He is the son in law of Joe Stone (deceased) and Mary Stone.
Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Louise Abeyta; 4 children, Jamie (spouse-Jennie Abeyta), Troy & Sean Abeyta and Tiffani Harris (spouse-Brad Harris); 7 grand children, Jarrod (spouse-Christine), Taylor, Lauryn, Trey & Madyson Abeyta and Rachel & Ryan Harris; 3 great grandchildren, Colin, Callie & Charli Abeyta and 12 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Monday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Victory Church 11777 Sheridan Blvd. Westminster, CO 80020.
