NEPPL, Sharon Lehl, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2001 in the loving home of her family in Tampa after a lengthy illness. Survivors include her daughter, Jill Neppl Weinstein (David) of Tampa, Fla.; her son, Gregory Earl Neppl of Washington D.C.; sister, Sandra de la Motte (Carl) of Englewood, Colo.; two brothers, Roger Acierno of Denver, Colo., and Rodney Acierno of Westminster, Calif.; an aunt, Marguerite Lehl of Brighton, Colo.; a cousin, Vicki Pelletier (David) of Littleton, Colo.; and one granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Weinstein. Mrs. Neppl, a native of Brighton, Colo., had lived in Jacksonville, Fla. since 1967. Following her graduation from the University of Colorado, Sharon worked for United Air Lines as a flight attendant and then taught high school English and Literature. She received her Masters degree from Florida State University in 1974. Since that time she had worked as a mental health, family, and addiction therapist in Clay and Duval Counties. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001 at Arlington Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the "Sharon Lehl Neppl Scholarship Fund" in care of Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Blvd. North, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
