Sophie J. Wagner, 81, of Brighton, a homemaker, died Jan. 29 in Brighton. Services were Saturday at Tabor Funeral Home. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born May 10, 1920, in Brighton. She graduated from Brighton High School. On Aug. 27, 1942, she married Philip Wagner Jr. in Brighton. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Zion Congregational Church. Her interests included reading, knitting, crocheting, traveling and cooking.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirlee Eads, Bennett, Elaine Warren, Greeley, and Terri Briggs, Thornton; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 789 Sherman St., Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203.
