DURDY, STEVEN PAUL
Steven Paul Durdy, age 59, of Killingworth, CT, passed away peacefully on March 08, 2016 after a long illness.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. Durdy of Killingworth, CT, and loving and proud father of Kathryn L. Durdy of Cody, WY. Steve is survived by his mother, Doris McEvoy of Denver, CO, siblings Stephanie Albrecht of Denver, CO, Les Durdy of Greeley, CO, and Paula Dennis of Denver, CO. Additionally, he was well-loved by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and good friends for whom he cared deeply.
Born in Denver, CO, Steve had a great love for the outdoors and was a remarkable angler throughout his life. Upon moving to the Connecticut shoreline, a great joy in his life was spending the day on his boat on the waters of Long Island Sound.
A private service will be held on Saturday, March 12th, at 11:30 AM, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 7 Hemlock Drive, Killingworth, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vasculitis Foundation.
