​On Tuesday, February 28 2023 the Colorado and National Volleyball Communities lost one of their greatest members with the passing of Wendy Sapp. For approximately 30 years Wendy was responsible for overseeing the Rocky Mountain Region Volleyball organization. Her passion in promoting the sport and supporting both youth and adult volleyball players never wavered. Wendy would often spend countless hours to make sure the club, players, and facilities were always taken care of. Her presence and her commitment were known not only in Colorado but through all of USAV volleyball. Wendy is survived by her loving husband, Glenn, who has also been an integral part of Colorado and National volleyball in the Club, Collegiate and Beach settings. In addition to Glenn, Wendy was the mother to two incredible daughters, Nikky and Jazzy who grew up alongside their Mom in the Junior Club and Collegiate volleyball scene as well. Wendy was a wonderful Grandmother to her two beautiful grand babies. Bailey and Joey Lynn. Wendy was also deeply loved by her dear brother, Larry and his two girls, Suki and Sumi.

We will all miss Wendy immensely and we are hoping to help her family with the financial expenses related to her sudden and unexpected passing.
